Volunteer

Volunteer in DelawareCan you give someone a ride to the doctor’s office?

Can you take someone along with you when you go to the store?

Can you visit a lonely person once a week?

Call someone on the phone so they don’t feel alone?

OR

We could also use your assistance as volunteers in support of our administrative office, i.e., newsletter/marketing, or special projects. Thanks to technology, many of these tasks can be performed remotely from your home.

Faith In Action volunteers are persons of various ages, faiths, and backgrounds who care about others. They are generous, caring people with a genuine concern for those with special needs and the elderly. Our volunteers are carefully screened, trained, and supervised to provide friendly, caring, and compassionate services. They give their time and energy to lend a helping hand to make life better for their neighbors.

If you want to volunteer you can do one of two things:

  • Call one of the Faith in Action Coordinators listed on the “Contact Us” tab.
  • Print out our Volunteer Application and mail (or scan/email) it to:
The Delaware Ecumenical Council on Children and Families
    2629 W. 19th Street
    Wilmington, DE 19806

Please call (302) 225-1040 should you have any technical issues.
